Frequently asked questions about chatroom.dot

Could I use .PAY for a wallet or payment app for BNPL checkout?

Yes. A wallet or payment app can use .PAY for a memorable payment-specific entry point. Check candidate labels through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If you own a matching trademark, consider the priority route; otherwise pre-order for broader access.

How do I renew my TMCH record so I keep priority for chatroom.dot?

You renew your TMCH record through the Trademark Clearinghouse before it lapses; an active record is what keeps your SMD valid for claiming chatroom.dot. If the record expires, the SMD stops working and your priority on chatroom.dot cannot be honoured. Keep it current, then register at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available when choosing subscriptions.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

What trust signal does chatroom.dot send compared to a free subdomain?

A dedicated chatroom.dot on a payment-purpose TLD signals an official, controlled payment property, while a free subdomain looks generic and easier to fake. Customers paying NicNames gain confidence from the clear chatroom.dot name. Establish it at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for point-of-sale payments?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
