Frequently asked questions about certipur.dot

What does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility when choosing wallet.pay?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

What makes certipur.dot better than a long checkout URL?

A long checkout URL is hard to remember and easy to mistype, while certipur.dot is short, brandable, and self-explanatory. Customers can return to it directly without digging through emails. Reserve the cleaner address at https://domain.pay/register.

Before choosing wallet.pay, how exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

What is the simplest way to explain certipur.dot to a non-technical person?

Tell them certipur.dot is a web address that ends in the word pay, so it is the place to go to pay certipur.dot. It works like any website link but its name advertises its purpose. They can reach it just by typing certipur.dot into a browser.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for an event ticketing business?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
