Frequently asked questions about ccny.dot

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments when choosing wallet.pay?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

How is ccny.dot protected against cybersquatting through TMCH?

TMCH protects ccny.dot by letting the validated owner of the ccny.dot mark claim it first via an SMD, before squatters can reach it in general availability. Trademark priority is the front-line defence for ccny.dot. Pairing it with a timely registration reduces conflict risk. Secure your priority claim at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for point-of-sale payments?

For point-of-sale payments, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

How does VIP priority handling work for ccny.dot?

VIP priority handling places your ccny.dot request ahead in our processing queue so it is submitted to the registry as quickly as possible at the drop or general availability. It does not guarantee allocation, since the registry makes the final assignment for ccny.dot. Learn more at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for wallet.pay for BNPL checkout?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
