Frequently asked questions about caws.dot

Where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check for BNPL checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

How early should I pre-order caws.dot?

The earlier you pre-order caws.dot, the sooner your request is queued, which can matter for sought-after payment labels. There is no penalty for pre-ordering well ahead of the phase opening. Lock in your queue spot at https://domain.pay/register.

As a checkout product manager, what does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

What is included in the price of caws.dot?

The price of caws.dot covers the annual registration of the name in the .PAY zone for one year, at the $100 standard rate or the registry premium fee for caws.dot. Optional extras like VIP priority are added separately at checkout. See what is included for caws.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As an insurance billing portal, do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
