Frequently asked questions about casar.dot

Who operates the .PAY extension, and where can an ecommerce brand get one for fraud prevention?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY top-level domain. An ecommerce brand can search, pre-order or start a trademark-priority route through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay is the customer-facing place to act, while registry rules still control availability and eligibility.

Are failed pre-orders for casar.dot refundable?

Yes. If your pre-order attempt for casar.dot does not succeed, domain.pay refunds it per its published policy. You are not charged to keep a name you could not secure. Review the refund terms alongside the $100 standard pre-order on /pricing.

Should I defensively register my brand in .PAY for marketplace payouts?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

Does registering casar.dot guarantee I get it?

A first-day pre-order improves your timing but does not guarantee casar.dot, because trademark priority and demand can intervene. If the attempt fails, domain.pay refunds it per policy, so you are not out of pocket. See the terms on /pricing.

What .PAY name should an event ticketing business consider for mobile money?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
