Frequently asked questions about carlson.dot

Can I pay for a .PAY pre-order by card, wire or crypto for point-of-sale payments?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Is carlson.dot only for businesses based in certain countries?

carlson.dot is generally not limited to specific countries, since .PAY does not typically restrict by location of the registrant. Your local financial regulation may still govern how you operate payments. domain.pay can confirm current eligibility for your region at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark for loan repayments?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

How do I point carlson.dot at a Shopify or Wix store?

Hosted platforms give you a target — usually a CNAME or specific A records — that you add to the DNS of carlson.dot, plus they auto-provision SSL. Follow your platform's connect-domain guide using carlson.dot as the custom domain. Edit the records for carlson.dot from /domains.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken for payroll disbursements?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
