Frequently asked questions about carabao.dot

Can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now for point-of-sale payments?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I pre-order a backup name in case carabao.dot falls through?

Yes. While carabao.dot is uncertain, you can pre-order one or more backup .PAY names on domain.pay at the standard pre-order price of $100 each. Failed pre-order attempts are refundable, so securing a fallback carries limited downside. Place a pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for crypto payments?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Can domain.pay notify me about carabao.dot's launch phases?

Yes. When you place a pre-order for carabao.dot, domain.pay tracks the launch phases and submits your request at the right moment, so you do not have to monitor the schedule yourself. Start tracking carabao.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for digital wallets?

For digital wallets, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
