Frequently asked questions about capsules.dot

For BNPL checkout, when does the .PAY LRP1 period begin?

ICANN currently lists .PAY Limited Registration Period 1 from July 20, 2026 to February 1, 2027. LRP1 has payment-transaction eligibility and use restrictions. Check your domain path through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Is it worth registering capsules.dot defensively for my brand?

Holding capsules.dot defensively keeps a brand-matching .PAY name out of others' hands and lets you redirect it to your main site. It's a common brand-protection step, especially in payments-adjacent industries. You can secure capsules.dot via a standard pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

Should an ecommerce brand protect its exact brand in .PAY for invoice collection?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

What is the cheapest way to register capsules.dot?

The most economical path for capsules.dot is the standard $100 pre-order when capsules.dot is not classified as premium by the registry. Premium names cannot be discounted below their assigned tier. Confirm whether the standard rate applies to capsules.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for mobile money?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
