Frequently asked questions about cadenas.dot

Will I need accurate contact details for a .PAY registration for point-of-sale payments?

Yes. Registry policy requires complete, accurate and current registration data. Use domain.pay for the registration path and keep your contact details up to date: https://domain.pay/register. Inaccurate data can create compliance and communication problems.

Why would cadenas.dot be unavailable even during general availability?

cadenas.dot may stay unavailable during general availability if the registry has reserved or already allocated cadenas.dot, or designated it premium with different terms. The domain.pay flow flags any such status for cadenas.dot. Check the current status of cadenas.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Why can't I register cadenas.dot even though it's not owned?

If cadenas.dot is unowned yet still unregisterable, it's almost certainly reserved or blocked by Amazon Registry Services under its naming policy. Those classifications sit above third-party ownership. Registry status can change — re-check cadenas.dot at https://domain.pay/domains to see if it has been released.

As a payroll platform, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
