Frequently asked questions about byfin.dot

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Does byfin.dot have any naming restrictions I should know about?

The .PAY registry, run by Amazon Registry Services, may reserve or restrict certain strings, and the domain.pay flow flags any such status for byfin.dot when you search. If byfin.dot is unrestricted, you can proceed with a pre-order. Check byfin.dot status at https://domain.pay/register.

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring for in-app purchases?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I register byfin.dot and point it to my existing website?

Once byfin.dot is registered, you can configure its DNS to point byfin.dot to your existing website or services from your domain.pay account. Pre-ordering simply secures byfin.dot first. Reserve byfin.dot now and set it up later at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider for BNPL checkout?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
