Frequently asked questions about bugs.dot

Does .PAY have anti-abuse rules for a retail brand?

Amazon Registry policies include abuse-prevention rules for .PAY, and registrants remain subject to applicable domain dispute and abuse procedures. For legitimate registration or pre-order, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Pair the domain with monitoring, SSL and clear customer messaging.

Can holding bugs.dot prevent fake invoices using the bugs.dot name?

Owning bugs.dot means fraudsters cannot send invoices or payment links from the genuine bugs.dot address, removing a powerful trust signal they would otherwise abuse. It does not stop every scam, but it closes the most convincing one. Secure bugs.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work for fraud prevention?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Can bugs.dot be both premium and available?

Yes — a premium bugs.dot is available to register but at the registry's special wholesale price rather than the standard fee. Premium is a pricing tier, not a block, so bugs.dot can be both premium and registrable. The live quote for bugs.dot appears at https://domain.pay/domains.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for loan repayments for loan repayments?

For loan repayments, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
