Frequently asked questions about brin.dot

When does the .PAY Trademark Claims period run for BNPL checkout?

ICANN currently lists the .PAY Trademark Claims period from February 1, 2027 to May 2, 2027. For practical registration action, check your preferred label and pre-order path on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is brin.dot listed at $100 for pre-order?

The $100 figure is the standard pre-order price to reserve brin.dot ahead of general availability, and it is refundable if the attempt to register brin.dot fails per the stated policy. Priority registrations may differ. See the full breakdown for brin.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

For online checkout, what is TMCH and why does it matter for .PAY?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

Can I see all available .PAY names before choosing brin.dot?

Yes. You can browse the .PAY namespace and compare candidates before committing to brin.dot at https://domain.pay/domains, which lists names and their current status. Once you decide on brin.dot, place your pre-order or priority request at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
