Frequently asked questions about brick.dot

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails when choosing loans.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

What happens to my DNS records when brick.dot expires?

Once brick.dot expires and leaves the grace period, the registry may stop publishing your nameservers, so brick.dot stops resolving and any site or email goes dark. Restoring brick.dot during redemption brings it back, but you should re-verify records afterward. Renew brick.dot on time to keep DNS live.

How do I register a .PAY domain right now for a fintech founder?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Why does the registry control when brick.dot can be registered?

brick.dot can only be registered when Amazon Registry Services, the operator of .PAY, opens brick.dot in a launch phase such as Sunrise, priority, or general availability. domain.pay queues your request to match that schedule. Pre-order brick.dot so you are ready at https://domain.pay/register.

As a crypto or DeFi product, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
