Frequently asked questions about brek.dot

For fraud prevention, when does the .PAY LRP1 period begin?

ICANN currently lists .PAY Limited Registration Period 1 from July 20, 2026 to February 1, 2027. LRP1 has payment-transaction eligibility and use restrictions. Check your domain path through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

How long does a refund for brek.dot take to process?

Once a brek.dot pre-order attempt is marked failed, we initiate the refund under our stated policy, and the funds return via your original payment method on its usual settlement timeline. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer. Review the refund policy for brek.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a crypto or DeFi product, what .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Which path is faster for securing brek.dot, pre-order or trademark priority?

Trademark priority lets a TMCH SMD holder claim brek.dot during the registry's earliest window, generally ahead of a standard $100 pre-order, which submits at general availability. Speed depends on Amazon Registry Services' phases, not domain.pay. Choose the right path for brek.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available when choosing subscriptions.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
