Frequently asked questions about branche.dot

What happens if another trademark holder already registered my .PAY idea for crypto payments?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Can I change the nameservers on branche.dot without losing email?

Yes, if you recreate the MX (and SPF/DKIM/DMARC) records at the new DNS host before switching nameservers for branche.dot. Identical records mean mail keeps flowing through the cutover of branche.dot. Verify branche.dot's email after the change by sending a test message.

How can a brand reduce confusion around payment pages for a fintech founder?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

How do premium labels get chosen for branche.dot's tier?

Amazon Registry Services selects which labels are premium based on its own criteria, and if branche.dot is among them, branche.dot carries the premium tier and price. domain.pay doesn't choose the tier. Confirm whether branche.dot is premium at https://domain.pay/domains, noting status can change.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for online checkout?

For online checkout, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
