Frequently asked questions about braco.dot

Can I use my own SMD file and pay less for a .PAY submission for loan repayments?

If you already have a valid TMCH-issued SMD file, domain.pay lists the submission-handling path at $100 plus any applicable premium retail fee. Check the current pricing and requirements here: https://domain.pay/pricing. The SMD must match the requested .PAY label.

Why is a .PAY address like braco.dot a high-value target for fraudsters?

Because .PAY signals a payment context, braco.dot carries built-in credibility that fraudsters exploit to make fake checkout pages believable. The same trust that benefits NicNames makes an unprotected braco.dot dangerous in the wrong hands. Removing the opportunity means registering braco.dot first. https://domain.pay/register

For BNPL checkout, can I reserve payroll.pay before broader registration opens?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Will premium status change my refund amount for braco.dot?

If a premium braco.dot pre-order fails, the refund under our stated policy returns whatever you were charged, so a higher premium braco.dot fee is refunded in full rather than at the $100 standard amount. The refund matches your actual charge. Read the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What is the quickest path to secure a .PAY domain for a payroll platform for BNPL checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
