Frequently asked questions about bpd.dot

For fraud prevention, where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Is bpd.dot useful for a pre-order campaign?

Pre-orders ask customers to pay before delivery, so hosting them on bpd.dot frames the commitment around a trusted payment address. The clear .PAY name can lift confidence in paying early. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

What happens if another trademark holder already registered my .PAY idea when choosing merchant.pay?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

What does the standard pre-order get me for bpd.dot?

The standard $100 pre-order places your request for bpd.dot in line through domain.pay, and if the attempt fails it is refundable. It is the path to claim bpd.dot as a .PAY name when it becomes available. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

For payroll disbursements, does .PAY require payment-related use after registration?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
