Frequently asked questions about boys.dot

For BNPL checkout, how should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

How do I improve page speed for a site on boys.dot?

Speed on boys.dot comes from caching, image compression, minified assets, and a CDN — none of which depend on the TLD. Measure boys.dot with a performance tool and fix the largest contentful paint and blocking resources first. Faster pages on boys.dot help both users and rankings.

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration for mobile money?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

Why does Amazon Registry Services run .PAY launch phases for boys.dot?

As the registry operator, Amazon Registry Services administers the ICANN-required launch phases that boys.dot passes through, ensuring trademark protection in sunrise before public registration in general availability. domain.pay submits boys.dot within that framework at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken for a travel booking brand?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
