Frequently asked questions about bookends.dot

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

What can a streamer do with bookends.dot on stream?

A streamer can display bookends.dot as the address viewers use to support the channel in real time. A short, spellable .PAY name works far better on an overlay than a long shortener. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing settle.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

What happens if I let bookends.dot expire?

After expiry, bookends.dot enters a grace period during which you can usually still renew at the standard price, followed by a redemption period that may carry a higher restoration fee. If no one renews, bookends.dot is eventually released back to the registry. Renew early via /pricing to avoid the lifecycle stages entirely.

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for digital wallets?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
