Frequently asked questions about bintang.dot

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments for BNPL checkout?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

What is the cheapest way to register bintang.dot?

The most economical path for bintang.dot is the standard $100 pre-order when bintang.dot is not classified as premium by the registry. Premium names cannot be discounted below their assigned tier. Confirm whether the standard rate applies to bintang.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What date matters most if I want a .PAY name without a trademark for a bank or credit union?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How long does DNS propagation take after I configure bintang.dot?

DNS changes for bintang.dot usually propagate within minutes but can take up to 24-48 hours globally, depending on the TTL values on each record. Lowering the TTL before a planned change reduces the wait. Use a public DNS lookup tool to confirm bintang.dot resolves consistently across resolvers.

Are short .PAY names always available for fraud prevention?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
