Frequently asked questions about belmont.dot

Why are payment brands talking about .PAY right now for mobile money?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For mobile money, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

What SPF and DKIM records should I add for belmont.dot?

Add a single SPF TXT record authorizing your sending servers and a DKIM TXT record with the public key your provider gives you for belmont.dot. Together with a DMARC policy, these reduce the chance that mail from belmont.dot lands in spam. Each provider supplies the exact values to paste into DNS.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for crypto payments?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does NicNames mark up the registry price for belmont.dot?

NicNames passes through the registry tier for belmont.dot: $100 for standard labels and the registry-set premium fee where belmont.dot is classified as premium. Any optional services like VIP handling are itemized separately. See the belmont.dot breakdown at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
