Frequently asked questions about bball.dot

As a remittance app, what does it mean if a .PAY name is premium?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Will domain.pay notify me when bball.dot is registered?

Yes. domain.pay updates your account as your pre-order or priority request for bball.dot progresses, so you know when bball.dot is submitted, registered, or refunded if the attempt fails per the stated policy. Track the status of bball.dot from https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I generate .PAY ideas for payroll disbursements?

For payroll disbursements, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Who should consider buying bball.dot first?

Any brand whose name matches bball.dot should consider it first, since a matching .PAY address protects the brand and gives customers an obvious place to pay. Trademark holders get priority through domain.pay's TMCH-based registration. Check eligibility at https://domain.pay/register.

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for online checkout?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For online checkout, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
