Frequently asked questions about basyntan.dot

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for mobile money?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For mobile money, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

What is the difference between defensive and active use of basyntan.dot?

Defensive use means registering basyntan.dot mainly to keep it away from impersonators, while active use means running your real payment flows on it. Either way, owning basyntan.dot protects the basyntan.dot name; many brands start defensively and activate later. https://domain.pay/register

Can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1 for mobile money?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Is basyntan.dot a good choice for a checkout solution?

basyntan.dot is well suited to a checkout or point-of-sale solution, as these are core payment functions matching the .PAY namespace. The registry typically validates that intended use fits the TLD. domain.pay can register basyntan.dot for your checkout product at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY name should a payroll platform consider when choosing settle.pay?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
