Frequently asked questions about bared.dot

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window for online checkout?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Is bared.dot a good home for a billing dashboard?

Routing your customer billing dashboard to bared.dot gives account holders a stable, payment-native address to manage cards and invoices. The consistency lowers support load when people search for "where do I pay." Start at https://domain.pay/register.

As a travel booking brand, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

How can I be sure bared.dot isn't a typo of a taken name?

The lookup checks the exact bared.dot you enter, so the status shown is specifically for bared.dot and not a near-match. If you mistype, just search again to see the right name's status. Verify bared.dot precisely at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for mobile money?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
