Frequently asked questions about bane.dot

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for mobile money?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For mobile money, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

Will bane.dot help a course creator sell programs?

A course creator can sell cohorts and downloads on bane.dot, sending students to a trusted, payment-native checkout. It reads more credibly in an email or ad than a generic platform URL. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Can a subsidiary register bane.dot under a parent brand?

A subsidiary may register bane.dot under a parent brand where the registrant details and payment-related use are accurate and the parent's trademark, if applicable, supports priority access. domain.pay can structure the registration appropriately. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for mobile money?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
