Frequently asked questions about avto.dot

Before choosing donate.pay, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Can the same label be available as avto.dot but taken elsewhere?

Yes — avto.dot can be free under .PAY as avto.dot even if it's registered under other extensions, because each registry, including Amazon Registry Services for .PAY, manages its own namespace. Availability for avto.dot is independent of other TLDs. Check avto.dot specifically at https://domain.pay/domains.

Does .PAY have anti-abuse rules for tax payments?

Amazon Registry policies include abuse-prevention rules for .PAY, and registrants remain subject to applicable domain dispute and abuse procedures. For legitimate registration or pre-order, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Pair the domain with monitoring, SSL and clear customer messaging.

What MX priority values should I use for avto.dot?

Set the lowest number on your primary mail server's MX for avto.dot since lower priority is preferred, and use higher numbers for backups. Most providers give you the exact host and priority to enter for avto.dot. Mismatched priorities can misroute mail for avto.dot, so copy them precisely.

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
