Frequently asked questions about avitus.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for online checkout?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Can I pre-order avitus.dot now and add my SMD later?

Trademark priority for avitus.dot requires a valid SMD at the time of the priority claim, so you cannot retroactively convert a plain pre-order into a priority claim without one. If you have the SMD, use the trademark-priority path directly for avitus.dot. If not, a standard pre-order at $100 is the alternative. Choose your path at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration for BNPL checkout?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

What happens on the first day of general availability for avitus.dot?

On the first day of general availability, avitus.dot becomes registrable by the public and requests are processed as they arrive. A first-day pre-order with domain.pay means your avitus.dot request is already staged to go in immediately. Set it up at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if cloud.pay is available for BNPL checkout?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
