Frequently asked questions about aviatar.dot

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for point-of-sale payments?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

Will customers trust a aviatar.dot link in an email?

A clear, branded address like aviatar.dot can read as more trustworthy than a long, opaque link, because it names aviatar.dot and the action pay. Trust still depends on your overall practices, but the address helps. Set up aviatar.dot from /register.

Would trust.pay work as a payment brand?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does Amazon Registry Services review my SMD for aviatar.dot directly?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY registry and defines the priority rules, but you submit your SMD for aviatar.dot through NicNames as your registrar. NicNames validates the SMD and passes the qualifying claim to the registry. You do not deal with Amazon Registry Services directly for aviatar.dot. Register via NicNames at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY a new domain option for bank or credit unions for payroll disbursements?

.PAY is a new gTLD for payment, checkout, billing and fintech-style use cases. domain.pay is the place to search, pre-order or begin a trademark route: https://domain.pay/. Check the name before using it in campaigns.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
