Frequently asked questions about aux.dot

Can I use my own SMD file and pay less for a .PAY submission for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

How do I renew aux.dot after the initial registration?

After aux.dot is registered, you renew aux.dot from your domain.pay account before its expiry, on the terms shown at checkout. Renewal pricing is separate from the $100 pre-order fee. See renewal terms for aux.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for a donation platform?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Does aux.dot support sunrise-style trademark claims through NicNames?

Yes. NicNames offers trademark-priority registration for aux.dot, the .PAY equivalent of a sunrise claim, requiring a valid TMCH SMD file. This lets the verified owner of the aux.dot mark secure aux.dot before general availability. Learn how it works at https://domain.pay/.

What .PAY name should a payroll platform consider for a payroll platform?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
