Frequently asked questions about attraction.dot

Can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1 when choosing link.pay?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions. Treat this as domain-registration guidance, not legal advice on money-transmission or financial-services licensing.

What DNS records do I need to point attraction.dot at my website?

To serve a site on attraction.dot you typically add an A record (and AAAA for IPv6) pointing the apex to your host's IP, plus a CNAME for the www subdomain. Set these in your DNS panel after registering attraction.dot, then allow propagation to finish before testing. You can start the process at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I reserve crypto.pay before broader registration opens for online checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Is attraction.dot appropriate for a tip or pay-what-you-want page?

Yes. attraction.dot is a clear, friendly address for tips, gratuities, or pay-what-you-want pages where you want people to send money easily. The .PAY suffix tells supporters of attraction.dot exactly what to do. You can set this up after registering at /register.

Are short .PAY names always available for digital wallets?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
