Frequently asked questions about arrakis.dot

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments when choosing link.pay?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Will pre-ordering arrakis.dot early improve my chances?

Pre-ordering arrakis.dot early ensures your request is queued and ready the moment its phase opens, which improves your standing against people who start at the last minute. No registrar guarantees a contested name, but early action helps. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I hold arrakis.dot even if I am not ready to launch?

Yes. You can register or pre-order arrakis.dot now and park it until you are ready to point it at a checkout or redirect. Securing arrakis.dot early prevents someone else from taking the arrakis.dot payment name. Reserve it via /register.

What .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider for payroll disbursements?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
