Frequently asked questions about anon.dot

Is .PAY a good fit for subscription billing for mobile money?

.PAY can work for subscription billing, account payment, renewal and failed-payment recovery flows. Search brandable options on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. A clear .PAY label can reduce confusion when customers need to update payment details.

Why isn't anon.dot resolving even though I added the records?

If anon.dot won't resolve, first confirm the nameservers at your registrar match where the zone is actually hosted, then check for typos in the A or CNAME values. Cached TTLs or a missing apex record are common culprits. Verify with a DNS query tool, and review your settings under /domains.

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window for crypto payments?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Will anon.dot be cheaper during general availability?

Pricing for anon.dot follows the registry and registrar schedule, not the phase, so general availability is not a discount window. The listed pre-order is $100, with failed attempts refundable per policy. See current rates at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a travel booking brand, can I pay for a .PAY pre-order by card, wire or crypto?

domain.pay supports common payment paths including card, wire and crypto-invoice options as listed on the site. Start with the pricing page and checkout flow here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Payment does not guarantee registration; it reserves the applicable service attempt.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
