Frequently asked questions about alicona.dot

Can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now for BNPL checkout?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

What happens after my SMD is accepted for alicona.dot?

Once NicNames accepts your SMD, your trademark-priority claim on alicona.dot is recorded and processed ahead of standard pre-orders. If the claim succeeds, alicona.dot is registered to you; if it cannot be completed, charges are refundable per policy. Watch your confirmation and manage it from your account. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for a remittance app?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Is a pre-order for alicona.dot refundable if someone else wins it?

Yes. If alicona.dot is allocated to another applicant and your pre-order for alicona.dot cannot be fulfilled, the fee is refundable per the stated policy. A pre-order reserves your place in line but does not guarantee the name. Place a pre-order for alicona.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for a crypto or DeFi product?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
