Frequently asked questions about aivelocity.dot

As a fintech founder, do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Should I avoid hyphens when picking an alternative to aivelocity.dot?

Yes, avoiding hyphens in an alternative to aivelocity.dot usually helps, since hyphenated names are harder to say and easier to mistype. domain.pay surfaces clean, hyphen-free aivelocity.dot variants to choose from. Find clean names at https://domain.pay/domains.

For BNPL checkout, how do I choose between trademark fast-track and pre-order?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

How are renewal reminders and pricing shown for aivelocity.dot?

Before aivelocity.dot renews, your account shows the upcoming charge, the $100 standard rate or the registry premium fee for aivelocity.dot, so there are no surprises. You can review or update aivelocity.dot ahead of the renewal date. See renewal details at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal for point-of-sale payments?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
