Frequently asked questions about aire.dot

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for fraud prevention?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

What TTL should I set for records on aire.dot?

A TTL of 3600 seconds (one hour) is a reasonable default for stable records on aire.dot, balancing fast updates against resolver load. Lower it to 300 before a planned migration of aire.dot, then raise it again once things are stable. Very low TTLs increase query volume slightly.

Would trust.pay work as a payment brand for crypto payments?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does registering aire.dot include email or hosting?

Registering aire.dot secures the name aire.dot in the .PAY registry; email and hosting are separate services you can connect after aire.dot is registered via DNS settings. The $100 pre-order covers the name reservation. Reserve aire.dot first at https://domain.pay/register.

As a retail brand, can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
