Frequently asked questions about aegis.dot

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for fraud prevention?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Will aegis.dot help customers recognize a payment link?

A link ending in .PAY like aegis.dot signals payment context before a customer even clicks. That clarity can reduce hesitation compared with an unfamiliar or generic URL. Because Amazon Registry Services runs .PAY, the suffix carries a consistent, purpose-built meaning.

Is .PAY a new domain option for insurance billing portals for point-of-sale payments?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For point-of-sale payments, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

What if a competitor already pre-ordered aegis.dot?

If a competitor already pre-ordered aegis.dot, domain.pay can suggest related aegis.dot names and catalog alternatives so you can secure a distinct, available option. Acting on a close variant early keeps your branding clear. Find alternatives at https://domain.pay/domains.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium when choosing travel.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
