Frequently asked questions about acts.dot

For BNPL checkout, can I reserve payroll.pay before broader registration opens?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Are .PAY pre-orders for acts.dot refundable?

Pre-order attempts that fail are refundable for acts.dot under our stated refund policy. A successful registration is generally non-refundable because the registry has allocated the name. Read the policy before pre-ordering acts.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What date matters most if I want a .PAY name without a trademark for an insurance billing portal?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Will I get a refund if my acts.dot pre-order fails?

Yes. If domain.pay cannot secure acts.dot during its launch phase, the failed attempt is refundable per the published policy. You only keep what you actually register. Review pricing and refund terms at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a regional bank, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
