Frequently asked questions about aceboots.dot

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for an ecommerce brand?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

How do I make sure my SMD matches the exact label in aceboots.dot?

Open your TMCH record to see the validated mark text, then compare it against the aceboots.dot string in aceboots.dot character by character before submitting. NicNames only grants priority when the SMD-encoded mark matches that label for aceboots.dot. A mismatch routes you to standard pre-order at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP for point-of-sale payments?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Can I pursue both aceboots.dot and NicNames at once?

Yes. You can pre-order both aceboots.dot and NicNames on domain.pay at $100 each, and failed attempts are refundable, so pursuing two candidates is low-risk. This hedges your bet on aceboots.dot. Pre-order both at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for point-of-sale payments?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
