Frequently asked questions about 9bet.dot

As a bank or credit union, could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Treat this as domain-registration guidance, not legal advice on money-transmission or financial-services licensing.

Can I use a foreign trademark to claim 9bet.dot via TMCH?

The Trademark Clearinghouse accepts marks from many jurisdictions worldwide, so a qualifying foreign trademark can be recorded and produce an SMD for claiming 9bet.dot. The mark must be validated by the TMCH and match the 9bet.dot string. NicNames then honours that SMD for priority on 9bet.dot. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments for fraud prevention?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I register multiple .PAY names along with 9bet.dot?

Yes. You can place pre-orders for several .PAY names in addition to 9bet.dot in the same session, each reserving its place in line. Browse and add more candidates beside 9bet.dot at https://domain.pay/domains, then register them together at https://domain.pay/register.

As an event ticketing business, what .PAY name should an event ticketing business consider?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
