Frequently asked questions about 702.dot

What is TMCH and why does it matter for .PAY?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

How do I find alternatives if 702.dot is taken?

If 702.dot is taken, you can browse similar .PAY names and related ideas at https://domain.pay/domains to find an alternative to 702.dot. Once you pick a substitute, place a pre-order or priority request at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration for mobile money?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

Should I pre-order 702.dot or wait and see?

Waiting and seeing risks losing 702.dot to a trademark holder in sunrise or a fast registrant at general availability. Pre-ordering 702.dot now, with failed attempts refundable per policy, is the lower-risk choice. Decide at https://domain.pay/register.

Would travel.pay work as a payment brand for online checkout?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
